Aunt Lavina and Carolyn are very busy baking Pumpkin and Squash pies. Hot Apple Cider is still the favored drink, but Eggnog is added to the evening refreshment table.James loves the smells that surround the cooking. He's been invited to help bake the cookies. He's pretty excited (he loves raw cookie dough). He plans on asking Carolyn to go for a long walk with him in the morning. It gets dark so early now, they have to get an early start.
Can't you just feel the breeze as it blows through the leafless trees.
