West Virginia Fall
Carolyn loves to walk along the "Country Roads" of WV. She talked James into walking with her. During their walk several tourists passed them, driving real slow and taking pictures. James wants to go for another walk tomorrow so he can bring his own camera.
The Fall Foliage is truly brilliant and people come from many parts of the US to view this splendid sight.

Country Roads
John Denver sang about the Country Roads of West Virginia. Carolyn is familiar with the country roads and James is getting used to them. His first experiences were a little scary. There are horseshoe and hairpin turns galore.

Beautiful WV and Query Letter Woes
I passed through Hooper's Creek yesterday. It is so beautiful. This time of year is just before Fall prime time. It's close to the time that James first appeared in this little backwoods town. Lavina is going to be more upset than the rest of the crew.
Today, I finished writing my query letter. First draft. I'll send it out in a couple of days.

Link to Photos
This is so strange. It keeps trying to write in oriental words, which I don't know. LOL. I tried to put a new thing from Flicker on here twice but it didn't work, but the link should. We're in OK right now.

The Muse Online Writers Conference | The ONLY online conference of its kind!
The Muse Online Writers Conference | The ONLY online conference of its kind!
I'm going to put this link on my website too, but I thought I'd add it to my book blog as well. I'm not good at blogging, but I loved the Muse Writing Conference.

Currently at Hooper's Creek
The weather today is 63 degrees and oveercast. Tomorrow it's suppose to rain. There isn't a lot of activity in Hooper's Creek, WV in May, but on the 14th, you can enjoy acoustic bluegrass & old-time jam sessions which are open to all. Join a jam, start one of your own, or just come to listen. No alcoholic beverages permitted.
James has always wanted to learn to play the banjo. He imagined several of the civil war soldiers knew how to turn a tune or two. Carolyn is a little too bashful to dance on the library lawn, but oh that Margie.

Learning about Blogs
I've revised my novel and have started my new book and I'm on my 3rd lesson for ICL.
Just what everyone wanted to know. I'm going to try to learn to be more exciting and interesting. Maybe write a bit from Carolyn or James' view on life.
I just finished the Catholic Writing Conference. It was really cool. One of the suggestions was to start a blog and write in it daily or at least on a regular basis.
I like to have my blogs link together and I'd like to have one of those pages that look like a website.
But one of my very next projects is to learn how to use Vista and my new laptop which has a webcam that I don't know how to open and also I think it has a touch screen, but I haven't figured that out either.
Any help on any of this will be appreciated.
